Expectant, eager;
Excitedly awaiting;
Anticipating, hoping;
Praising, reverencing;
Asking, thanking.

“For your Maker is your husband – the Lord Almighty is His name – the Holy
One of Israel is your Redeemer; He is called the God of all the earth.”
Isaiah 54 v 5

Counting, amazing;
Wondering, watching;
Hoping, praying;
Proclaiming, announcing;
Worshipping God.

“Tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord.” Psalm 78 v 4

Loving Father, You say “Joyfully you will draw water from the springs of
salvation and, that day, you will say, ‘Praise God, invoke his name. Proclaim
His deeds to the people, declare His name sublime. Sing of God, for His
works are majestic, make them known throughout the world. Cry and shout
for joy … For the Holy One … is among you in His greatness’.” * It is my
pleasure and delight to do this to honour and reverence You. May You
always be esteemed and exalted with the highest praise, O Holy One.
