Christ
the wisdom of God’s will and way;
the light of life and of love;
the marvel of mercy and miracles;
the power of persuasion and peace;
the blessing of bounty and benevolence;
the comfort of courage and compassion;
the holder of help and healing;
the heart of hope and holiness;
the person of prayer and persuasion;
the glory of goodness and grace;
the favour of fortune and feast;
the forgiveness of faults and failures;
the surrender of suffering and salvation;
the reality of redemption and replenishment;
the timekeeper of trust and truth;
the person of the purpose and promise of God;
in life the point is to know, love and serve You,
the source, the Son of God and the Sender of the Spirit. * 1

Dearest Lord,
based on You are the perfect beauty of holiness. “Honour and majesty are before You; strength and Psalm
96 v 6 beauty are in Your sanctuary.” May we reach out to see, hear and taste of Your sanctity that
we may share in the wonder. * 2 You are the blessing of the Father’s love made real amongst
