May the highest will be
To be filled by Your presence, Father.
You know what is best,
So we must seriously pray
Then leave the rest up to You.

“ ‘I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and the prudent
and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight’.”
Matthew 11 v 25, 26

I thank You for every quiet moment
Where we share life with You.
Seeking to live through You,
Entirely under Your holy authority
Then leave the rest up to You.

“May He give you the desires of your heart and make all your plans succeed.” Psalm 20 v 4

“In these days when you pray, I will listen. If you look for Me in earnest, you will find Me when you seek Me.”
Jeremiah 29 v 12, 13
Lord, to know You, is to love You and to love You is to serve You. May we always follow Yours,
the highest will, for to do this is to enjoy perfect freedom, our release from self-seeking and self-
serving. We need Your wisdom and truth to prevail, Father. May the highest will be to be filled by
Your presence. It is not good that we do anything other than You call us to do for within Your will
lies every trace of glory.
“I want to do what You ask of me: in the way You ask, for as long as You ask, because
You ask it. Lord, enlighten my understanding, strengthen my will, purify my
Pope Cement XI heart, and make me holy.” May the desires of my heart and my plans succeed because they are in
line with Your will. May I seriously pray and then leave the rest to You.
Thank You that we have a Saviour in the Lord Jesus in all these things pertaining to life and
happiness. “The world and its desires pass away; but the (wo)man who does the will of
1 John 2 v 17 God lives forever.” May we ever be God fearing, God loving, God honouring in all our plans. For You
will keep us from the harm of self-will when we accept Your word. Teach us to always seek Your
will. Then we can thank You that we look forward to the reward of life eternal. Amen.
