Happy days!
I am in a maze of richly colourful flowers.
Rich hours of pleasure to enjoy.
A craze for gardens is therapeutic
And realistic looking for an outlet.
I sit, ponder and wonder.
Where does such beauty appear from?
There is of course, only one answer.
The goodness of God is amazing in summer,
But then it is all year through too.
So what is special about these sweet September days?
I think this has to be the profusion,
No illusion here.
Life has truly blossomed and flourished.
Green leave

Life has truly blossomed and flourished.
Green leaves on the trees, slowly turning,
The emerald grass neatly mown in tidy splendour,
Flowers profusely decorating every corner and edge,
As if a pledge of God’s generosity.
I must give all thanks and praise.
Bright eyes are a prize of value!
And God may even surprise us as September moves forwards.
I wonder what delights await around the corner?
Lord, the other day, a friend said ‘September is my favourite month’. I can see why. September is the mellow
month full of experience, sometimes feeling like late summer, other times with an autumnal nip. The light shines
softly, there is a rich abundance in fruit and the colours still star in the garden. Thank You for the month of
September, truly it is glorious. Amen.
