Blue like white will excite.
Is it because
These are the colours of the firmament?
The Creator Lord did choose to use
Blue and white mainly to paint the sky most frequently.
A choice made surely carefully
For a very good reason?
Sometimes admittedly, the sky turns
To sombre shades of grey.
Or on a sunny day
To splendid sunset pink.
To make us think of the unspoken promise,
Tomorrow will be sunny.
The sky will even darken to purple,
But usually the blend is eye catching blue
With the purity of wh

Gone are the paler shades of orange or yellow mellow,
Blue can have a softness all of its own.
Perhaps an overtone of God’s love for us?
What a delight are blue and white:
May God never ever give up on us.
Does He not colour the world stunningly
Simply to show His presence with us?
The firmament overhead is a vast statement of intent
Coloured like a precious raiment.
Let us then look and see exactly how
God does reveal His glory.
Blue like white will excite.
