Be still, very still, until
Aware you do share
Christ’s very presence.


“My meditations of Him shall be sweet; I will be glad in the Lord.” Psalm 114 v 34


Let go, to discover, to know
He will hold you,
Mould you beautifully.


“In quietness and confidence shall be your strength.” Isaiah 30 v 5


Link with His will,
Til it drapes, shapes
Your every movement.


“May all who come to You be glad and joyful. May all who are thankful for Your salvation always say
‘How great is the Lord’!” Psalm 40 v 16
Hear His call, all love,
And fall readily, steadily
Into His waiting arms.


“Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today, and for ever.” Hebrews 13 v 8


Bring to Him everything:
Cares, worries, sorrow
To borrow His strength.


“Cast your burdens upon the Lord and He shall sustain you.” Psalm 55 v 22


Joys, pleasures, delight,
His magnificent might manifest.
Test all ideas on Him.


“Let the peace of God rule in your hearts.” Colossians 3 v 15


Then let Him work
On you, who He
Surely loves so very much.


“Send Your light and Your truth; may they lead me.” Psalm 43 v 3


Reach out always to touch
His hand of blessing
Continually caressing your life.


“I will go to Your altar, O God. You are the source of my happiness.” Psalm 43 v 4


Never miss such time,
Full beyond compare
As you gladly share together.


“Let me hear of Your steadfast love in the morning, for in You I put my trust.” Psalm 143 v 8


Lord, I seek Your presence. Send Your Spirit to prompt me to pray to You earnestly,
continually, whilst not forgetting to sit in silence and listen and learn from You. Amen.
