But never mind, we have to use

“God has created me to do Him some definite service;

So it is up to us to discover what this is.
If God’s calling is to compose, then do so!
Compose music with melodious notes,
Or write to invite a reader to connect with God’s goodness,
All that God shows us
By the truth of His love for us.
“Therefore, my God, I will put myself
Without reserve into Your hands.
Prayer concluded God is the God of my heart and my portion forever.”
So I will try to do what He sets before me,
Hoping, praying this will be, all to the glory of God.
“My heart is overflowing with a good theme; I recite my composition concerning the King;
Psalm 45 v 1 my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.”
Oh Lord, I seek to do this, thanking You for putting a love of writing on my heart. I hope to
achieve something to Your glory thereby.
Thus I look to do this: “I will make Your name to be remembered in all generations;
v 17 therefore the people shall praise You forever and ever.”
Dearest Father, through the power of holy love so evident to us in the gift of Your Son, please
keep Your Spirit upon me. Without Him, I can write nothing! But I wish to praise, honour and
delight You in the written word. Amen.
