“Walk in the Spirit...” Galatians 5 v 16
Praise to God, offer praise!
Talk of His goodness
All that is gracious.
Hearts and minds and voice
Raise in heartfelt praise.
For the Lord God, the Trinity
Is worthy of all warmest praise.
Heartfelt thanksgiving is due.
Let us honour and praise
Knowing why, able to describe this.
Strengthened, empowered by the Spirit
In whom we inherit the knowledge
And better still the experience of the Lord Jesus.
Sing praise to God, daily
Bring Him yourself, reverently.
God’s love is glorious, victorious when made ours.

“Almighty and everlasting God, by whose Spirit the whole body of the Church is governed and
sanctified: receive our supplications and prayers, which we offer before Thee for all estates of
(wo)men in Thy holy Church, that every member of the same, in his (or her) vocation and ministry,
may truly and godly serve Thee; through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.”
Collect for Good Friday, the “Book of Common Prayer”.

God’s love is the most precious gift
To lift our hearts heavenwards.
Thank, praise and bless the holy name,
Highest name of the Trinity of life,
Of love, joy, peace, freedom and hope.
What liberty there is in faith.
The freedom from fear, from doubt, from despair
Because in the Lord Jesus is our life’s repair.
What joy there is in prayer
As we learn to ask to share the power of holy love,
Spirit brought, Spirit taught, Spirit caught.
What peace there is in attempting to do all things well
According to the precepts of our belief.
