Without the Lord Jesus
We would have no real knowledge,
Let alone experience of You, dearest Father.
For Your Son is the reflection

perfection
To Your holiness
Being Your manifestation.
We can come to You
But only through the Lord Jesus.
You look at us,
You listen to us,
But You receive us
Only through Jesus.
It is His uprightness
goodness
righteousness
Which is accredited to us.
The baby about to be born,
The holy Son,
The One who like us,
Awaits now for Christmas,
Is Your living Word
abiding
sanctifying
By sharing His very own Spirit.
This is what will be
So worthy of acknowledgement.
Christmas is celebratory, but
Only through Jesus.
