Winter can be shivery in January
silvery in February
icy too, through and through.
But also winter can be
glittery at Christmas
shiny whilst mysterious
Because the season comes
to make us happy
contentedly so in Jesus.
So for now how we rejoice in God’s choice
His offering of life to us,
Know this is the season with reason
Not only to be jolly, but to remain so indefinitely?
For surely you can see
Winter can be gloriously decorative with Christmas festivity.

We have been made family,
joy our Christmas uplift readily.
Remember this when celebrating Christ’s nativity,
life gifted such purpose in the holy.
Onwards , upwards, resolutely, we travel in faith
Indeed, taking us now forwards into
the glorious eternity
God’s purpose so evident, prevalent, remarkably.
For this is His continuous offering.
Oh what a splendid Christmas offering is gifted to us in this oh so atmospheric time of happiness. Thank You
for all the joy of Jesus, however mysterious His incarnation is. May our festivity fit the occasion correctly.
