Gracious God of glorious sunrises,
Creator God of radiant light,
I praise You and rejoice in
Your gift of today’s morning energy.

Keep me on the path following
Your bright light of truth today.
It is in You alone I live at all,
Do not let me fall away from Your side.

Holy God of time’s continuous passage,
Generous Giver of opening opportunities,
I praise You and rejoice in
Your gift of today’s afternoon timing.

Keep me open to whatever You plan for me,
All You want to show me or tell me.
It is You who arranges meetings and encounters.
Do not let me pass by a chance to be a blessing.

Holy, holy, holy God, I rejoice in Your love for all of Your creation and long to give You thanks
and praise. Ever open my heart that You may dwell within to transform my life by the power of
Your goodness. Mighty Father, Risen Christ, Holy Spirit, breath of God, I exalt and esteem
Your greatness, graciousness and glory. All blessings and honour to You, Trinity of love. Amen.

Loving God of day drawing to a close,
Abiding God of time and life’s eventide,
I praise You and rejoice in
Your gift of today’s evening tranquillity.

Keep me from the creeping darkness,
Where doubt and fear may dwell.
It is You who holds in store further surprises,
As quietly I abide in Your presence to relax and pray.

Protector God of beautiful striking sunsets,

I praise You and rejoice in
Your gift of today’s nightfalling silence.

Keep me gratefully aware of all Your gifts and safekeeping today,
Thanking, praising and honouring You fully.
Make me conscious of any shortfall in Your expectations of me
Forgive me my sins, shortcomings and omissions.

being, You were eternally God, and will be God for ever….Fill us each morning with Your constant
love so that we may sing and be glad all our life…Let us, Your servants, see Your mighty deeds; let
