Boxing, dancing,
Cavorting, mating.
Spring is a driving force.
Birds,
Gathering, weaving,
Building, nesting.
Spring is a determined force.
Hens,
Clucking, brooding,
Laying, hatching.
Spring is a dominant force.
All of course,
By design and intention.
Let us then,
Not fail to mention
God’s name as
Life’s Creator.
Spring is sprung!
Joy in the living,
Give praise in the singing.
Life is busy
Everywhere about us.
Life is glorious!

Lord, spring is so full of the zest of life, a driving, determined, dominant force. Thank You for Your call to life
made to each and every one of us. May we respond by joy in the living of each day, time being too precious to
waste.
May we ever honour and thank You as life’s Creator, conscious of the fact that You give life to all things as
together we make up this wide and wondrous world. Yes, life is given for living and rejoicing. Be in the choices we
make. Amen.
