The scenes of life can be whimsical, comical, mythical,
And of course, much around us is beautiful,
Laudable in fine feature, truly remarkable.
What is notable to you?
For me it is wherever, whenever
I see God clearly at work,
In all the variety of His beauty.
Plants which are distinctive,
Readily arrest the gaze.
But then so too do the unusual,
Or the outrageously beautiful,
The exotic, the informal natural world
– Look at the satin sheen on a buttercup –
Or those flowers which bloom in the gar

For surely it is logical to presume
God in all His immensity, power, authority,
Has been busily at work!

believe to be beautiful.”
Thank You for all You gift us that is eye catching, that holds our attention. You have created a marvellous world.
May its wonders draw us closer to You. Amen.
