“The whole earth is full of His glory.” Isaiah 6 v 3

They shimmered, they shone
sparkling like jewels most precious
upon my window pane.
Iridescent by the night light
the raindrops stood motionless
as if stunned into stillness by their own splendour.
Golden, glorious pools, pinpricks
of shining myriad lights.
It seemed there is no height
God will not rise to
to let His splendour shine through!

“There is a season for everything, a time for every occupation under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3 v 1

A simple drop of water
transformed by God’s hand
to command my full attention.
‘We did not get here by chance
or become beautifully breathtaking
without the Creator’s making, a fine design.’
collectively, silently they seemed to sing.
‘Let us therefore, pay homage,
all reverence due to the One
who lets His glory shine through.’

“We rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5 v 2

And how about you?
Will you see and believe,
believe and receive God’s beauty?
He made many a moment in time
to reach you, to let you know
“Who is like You, glorious in holiness?” * 1
Will you pay the homage due?
You too, may be placed somewhere
maybe for a short time, but for a special reason.

“God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you
need, you will abound in every good work.” 2 Corinthians 9 v 8

God has a season for everything
under the sun, moon and stars.
Will you do what God calls you to?

God can take anything, anyone,
and turn it into something special.
Will you let God use you
for His holy plan and divine purpose
given to no other man nor woman? * 2i,ii,iii
Be alert, be ready at all times.
You never know when the summons
to reach out for God will come.

“I have sought Your face with all my heart; be gracious to me according to Your praise.”
Psalm 119 v 58
Whatever the task, even be it ever so simple,
ask to do it entirely for God’s glory.
Make that your life’s determined story,
for there is no better way.
Obey God, pay all the respect due
to His wonderful name
and life will never be the same again.
“We may be partakers of His holiness,” * 3
makers of His heaven upon earth.
What an amazing honour God bestows upon us!

“O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth!” Psalm 8 v 1

“Let us worship and bow down.” * 4 “Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty.” *

“Lord, I thank You for the night,
the time of cool and quiet,
the time of sweet enchantment
when a deep mystery pervades everything.
The time when soul speaks to soul in common desire
to partake of the hush of the ineffable.
The time when the moon and the stars
speak to man of His high calling and destiny.
The time of repose and calm
when the fever of the mind subsides
and uncertainty gives place
to the sense of eternal purpose.
O Lord, I thank You for night.” * 6 Amen
