The mighty mountains reaching upwards,
Shining, twinkling stars far above us.
Flower blooms adorning earth
Beneath blue depths of the sky.
Bird song rising melodically above surging streams,
Also singing rolling down to the seas.
One melody of life,
Surrounding, stretching to far-reaching lands,
New days dawning at sun-rising morning
Running through to mid day
To display time’s energy.
Until eventually the pace of evening’s quietness,
Followed by stillness of night,
No light except moon and stars
Time of repose, given I suppose in darkness
To remind us of everlasting rest,
Made ours at God’s behest.
Until we awaken to greet, meet
Another day amidst God’s glory,
Nature’s story of beauty wondrous all around us.
To utterly astound us.
But never more so,
Then when we perceive
How to receive of Jesus,
The very Word of life in all fullness.
How very generous is our Father
To gift us life in Jesus.
His friendship is our true and final, eternal meaning.
The vast purpose of holiness
Is this placed before us
Opening our eyes to see a world
Where love affirms us?
For we as family,
Are placed in a world of astounding beauty
In all its immensity, intensity of vigour.
Shimmering stars fading
New dawn arising, rose tinting skies.
Hinting at another day of opportunity
Beneath each ray of sun shining brightly.
Get up and pray with thanksgiving
For living to experience sweetness,
To taste of life in Jesus,
Much work to be done by us,
To spread His message.

Live to give of this
In all the grandeur
And wonder of God,
Splendour all about us.
Especially shown in Jesus.

Lord, thank You for the beauty, grandeur and wonder we meet each day, especially through Jesus.
Please increase our awareness of what belonging to Jesus means to us. We gain His Spirit of life. How
wonderful! Amen.
