“Set your mind on things above and not on things of the earth. For your life is hidden with Christ in
God.” Colossians 3 v 3
All of this, a reality due to the shedding of Jesus’ blood
Upon the † of salvation, recalled now,
Remembered, re-presented in the Eucharist,
Where Jesus comes to us, all praise and thanks ever be to the Trinity,
As the living sacrifice our Father made for us is real to us.
This is why and what we celebrate in the Eucharist,
A powerful time capsule opened in faith before us.
“Then He tells them their work and their transgressions – that they have acted defiantly. He also opens
their ears to instruction, and commands that they turn from iniquity. If they obey and serve Him, they
shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.” Job 38 v 9, 10, 11
The redemption of God’s creation is indeed miraculous,
Offered us because Jesus lived, died, rose again for us.
Give thanks, the † of His suffering turned into His offering.
For such is the good pleasure of God’s will for us;
We are meant to share and treasure this in the Eucharist.
“...having pre-destined us to adoption as sons (daughters) by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the
pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the
Beloved.” Ephesians 1 v 5, 6

“ ‘Behold, God is mighty, but despises no one, He is mighty in strength of understanding. He does not
preserve the life of the wicked, but gives justice to the oppressed.” Job 36 v 5, 6
