“This God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even unto death.” Psalm 48 v 14
“This God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our guide even unto death.” Psalm 48 v 14
God became man
so time began. * 1
It’s so amazing
the head will not
take the fact in.
Therefore let the heart
begin to accommodate
and assimilate this truth.
“All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing.” Colossians 1 v 6
A truth so shocking,
heart stopping, mind blowing,
so incredible as to sow doubt.
Yet the evidence is
there for all to see,
feel and become part of.
Let the reality impart
itself to you, and it is
life changing, rearranging
thoughts, actions, reactions,
plans, purposes and priorities.
“I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit – fruit that will last.” John 15 v 16
God became man
so time began
for us, to take on
real meaning hitherto
seeming improbable if not impossible.
Taste and see that
God is good and you should
be able to understand, for
however implausible the idea
remains, you gain insight
into the God given truth.
“This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be My disciples.”
John 15 v 8
Hold tight, it will rock you,
shock you, confound you!
But it is true.
God became man
and better than a dream,
He turned your life around
instead, on its head,
upside down, inside out
to shake you out of complacency.
“We pray …. that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way;
bearing fruit in every good work.” Colossians 1 v 10
Believe in Him, the Christ,
receive Him as Lord
and you will never, ever
be the same again.
Consider His †
set upon Calvary Hill
and you will begin to see
what Christ will be
for you through love.
“But you are a chosen race, a kingdom of priests, a holy nation, a people to be a personal
possession to sing the praises of God who called you out of the darkness into His wonderful
light.” 1 Peter 2 v 9
Your walk through life
will alter direction ,
for Christ is the true
connection to our Father
in heaven, His will
His way, His life.
You access the Holy Spirit
as your advocate,
guide and counsellor
enabling you, strengthening you
beyond anything hitherto
you imagined likely or possible.
“You will be able to tell them by their fruits. Can people pick grapes from thorns, or figs from
thistles? In the same way, a sound tree produces good fruit but a rotten tree bad fruit. A sound
tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor a rotten tree bear good fruit. Any tree that does not produce
good fruit is cut down and thrown on the fire. I repeat, you will be able to tell them by their fruits.
It is not anyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ who will enter the kingdom of Heaven, but the
person who does the will of My father in heaven.” Matthew 7 v 16-21
Live day by day
in the way of the Holy Spirit,
“There is nothing
I cannot do
in the One who
does strengthen me,” * 2
His truth holds
to become Your reality,
for the Spirit moves
you on in faith progressively.
God became man
so time began
for you to do
all Christ asks you to.
He’ll set you free
from wilful ways
where self does reign.
Christ will gain for you
the freedom to see
how to work towards
the call of sanctity.
“So now, if you are really prepared to obey Me and keep My covenant, you, out of all peoples,
shall be My personal possession, for the whole world is Mine.” Exodus 19 v 5
God’s call in Him ,
through Him, given
enfleshed in love,
nothing but love
to let us be placed
securely on the road
home to heaven. * 3
Walk with Christ,
talk with Christ
go along with Him
to begin life’s
really exciting adventure.
“No; we come through all these things triumphantly victorious, by the power of Him who loved
us. For I am certain of this: neither death or life, nor angels, nor principalities, nothing already in
existence and nothing still to come, nor any power, nor the heights nor the depths, nor any
created thing whatever, will be able to come between us and the love of God, known to us in
Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8 v 37-39
Love is said to
make time stand still,
but come to experience
God in Christ
and you will see
God became man
so time began
now into immortality.
“He fills my life with good things.” Psalm 103 v 5
This we pray Father: that our love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all
discernment, that we may approve the things that are excellent; that we may be sincere and
without offence until the day of Christ; being filled with the fruits of righteousness which sown by
Jesus Christ through the planting of His Spirit, are to Your glory and praise. * 4 Amen

If this man were not from God, He could do nothing.” John 9 v 33
*2
Philippians 4 v 13
*3
“I, who am less than the least of all God’s holy people, have been entrusted with this special
grace, of proclaiming to the gentiles, the unfathomable treasure of Christ and of throwing
light on the inner workings of the mystery kept hidden through all the ages in God, the
Creator of everything. The purpose of this was, that now, through the Church, the
principalities and ruling forces should learn how many-sided God’s wisdom is, according to
the plan which He had formed from all eternity to Christ Jesus our Lord. In Him we are bold
enough to approach God in complete confidence, through our faith in Him; so, I beg you, do
not let the hardships I go through on your account make you waver; they are your glory.
This, then, is what I pray, kneeling before the Father, from whom every fatherhood, in
heaven or on earth, takes its name.” Ephesians 5 v 8-15
