The peace of God’s presence
Is based on the prayer
We share together as family blessed by Jesus.
Ordinary people, doing ordinary things,
Yet receiving every blessing through prayer.
Prayer is meant to be
For all of God’s family, full sharing,
Full sharing with God and each other.
It is in the prayer we share through Jesus
We see many blessings unfolding.
“Salvation belongs to the LORD. Your blessing is upon Your people.” Psalm 3 v 8
All because we turned confidently
To God’s sovereign power and authority.
Graced, favoured amongst us
When we call upon the Spirit of holiness.
That very same Spirit who lived in Jesus
To now animate us.
We look to the † of forgiveness
And the power which becomes our blessing
Is absolutely extraordinary.
To share in prayer is to share with the Trinity,
That we each go forward in witness,
With worship, devotion to service, joyfully made, paid.
