“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11 v 1
Faith is a real appeal to find our Father.
Where, when and how He leaves up to us.

Which is life changing, most exciting in its capacity.
“You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures
forevermore.” Psalm 16 v 11
Seek the love of Jesus as made real to us,
Precious gift arising from the Father heart of God,
And entering our heart through prayer.
Prayer is where we stir up our heaven given emotions,
That Jesus, in the Spirit, can embrace us,
Trace upon us His very own holiness.
What a fine fusion, no illusion here,
But a decision on our part, responding readily
To the intention and purpose of godliness.
The Spirit strengthens faith’s endeavours,
Embarked upon, carried through, and hopefully completed,
By living the life of love our Saviour gifts us.
“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live
according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.” Romans 8 v 5
To be active and effective in anything holy,
We have to, absolutely have to, lean upon Jesus,
Yearning for, learning from His and the Father’s Spirit,
Without whom our efforts cannot flower and flourish.
The Spirit of Jesus is love’s empowering.
Bring everything to Him in prayer.
Ask Him to repair all faults and failings.
Let Him place Your whole life in Jesus,
His heart open in readiness to receive of us.
The Father, Son and Holy Spirit together, our Saviour and Sanctifier,
Will assess in us so as to address us to bless us.
“ ‘Sanctify them by Your truth, Your word is truth...For their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may
be sanctified by the truth’.” John 17 v 17, 19
They will comfort, reassure, strengthen and support,
But only if we are caught up in their arms of security entirely,
Allowing even, ourselves to be carried if necessary.
This unity is a real force, of course of goodness, of holiness.
That all will be well in the end,
As the Lord God, through Jesus, did send us His Spirit.
*John 14 v 12, 13, 14 The results will be greater than anything imagined.*
Jesus, truly alive in us, is the promise of God,
That we, His family, led by the Spirit, flourish.
Thank You blessed Trinity for everything godly.
Thank You holy Three, especially for Your power
Of holy love, so radically life changing,
Making the hope, peace and joy of Jesus, possible for us,
If we but set about the task to ask, prayerfully.
“...that we may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and
increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all might...” based on Colossians 2 v 10, 11
“...the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For ‘whoever calls on the name of the Lord
shall be saved’.” Romans 10 v 12, 13
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, You are life to me, life in all the fullness the Lord Jesus promises to
us when we believe in Him. Thank You for faith.
We find the path of life, the road home to heaven through faith, our belief that You, Lord Jesus,
came to live and die for us. Thank You for all You accomplished.
I used to think, until I met the Holy Spirit, that I would not meet You until I had died. Your
Spirit, the Father’s Spirit, has taught me so much. Thank You Holy Spirit, Lord.
You have too, brought to me some gifting in wisdom, counsel and understanding. Please continue
to help me to put this to godly use. Thank You for Your gifting.
You have taught me about grace, about the vital necessity of holy love and about prayer. Please
pray in me so as to work through me. Thank You for enabling me to work in Jesus’ name.
Holy Spirit of love, You draw us through our friendship with the Lord Jesus, into a closer
relationship with our Father. Thank You for blessing us in this particular way.
I pray for those who have not as yet received in faith, also for those who have fallen away or
grown lukewarm. Thank You for responding to prayer, allowing faith to progress.
You make the love of Jesus and the merciful love and forgiveness of our Father, real to us. Our
Saviour Brother has revealed the Father heart of God through You. Thank You for this
revelation.
As a response, please continue to show us the intention and purpose of godliness by
strengthening our faith’s endeavour to live virtuously. Thank You for revealing the necessity,
then empowering us through Jesus.
You are a most powerful Spirit, oh most marvellous Spirit of faith. May we ever welcome You
into our daily life, for it is often so full of sin’s strife. Please help us to be over-comers. Thank
*Ephesians 6 v 10-18 You that You will enable us to fight the spiritual battles correctly.*
As we pray, please support us in our endeavour to overcome all faults and failings. Develop
within us the mind of Jesus. Thank You that by Your efforts our Saviour will sanctify us.
The Lord Jesus desires to set us apart for the ministry of truth, that we live in all wisdom and
*John 17 v 6-16 truth, keeping us from all that is evil.* Thank You for making this possible.
All goodness, all holiness is the aim and purpose, intention and goal of You as a holy Trinity.
1 John 5 v 10 “(S)he who believes in the Son of God has the witness in him (her)self,” You show us.
Thank You Father, Son and Holy Spirit, for sharing Your love with us, made family by adoption,
that we be joyous, live in peace and cling on to a realistic hope.
May nothing ever lessen our devotion, our worship, nor our service. Thank You for teaching us
the importance of reverence and obedience. May we live well, ever to the glory of the Trinity.
Amen.
