Welcoming us, being

Inviting stopping,
And relaxing,

every, lovely, life, fabulous, flower, towering, tree, leaf, green, grass, blue, bluebell, climbing, clematis, beautiful

What awareness
Will increase for us
If only
We stop
Our hurry
To sit still

Drink in a fill.
Remain awhile
To ponder,
The thrill
Of every flower,
Or better still
Wonder on
All of nature.
Every gift
God’s generosity
Grants us
To uplift us.
Glimpses of glory,
Life’s story,
Wonderfully unfolding
In each and every
Wondrous, most glorious
Month of spring.
Look, see,
Receive, believe,
In God’s abundance,
Profligacy of generosity.
Thankfully offer praise.
Amaze at such sights
Set stunningly before us,
Offering every opportunity
To us to be
Happily content.

Lord, thank You for the beauty of spring gardens often particularly breathtaking. It is as the
psalm says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations. I will be
Psalm 46 v 10 exalted in the earth!” May every growth of nature, so particularly lush and lovely in spring, gift
us more than ample cause to praise and thank You. Lord, hear our prayer and reward please our
awareness. Amen.
