Remember November
Is never dull
If you use
The beauty about us
And enthuse.
There is colour in fruit,
Plenty of texture
In pine cones and Chinese lanterns.
There are beautiful vegetables
And richly coloured leaves
Now off the autumn trees.
Add a berry or two
In a basket or pot,
And what a lot
Of pleasure is here
To treasure.
November’s not readily
And perhaps not easily
Identified with colour.
But remember God’s skill
And He will fill
Your days with opportunity
!

Lord, for all the beauty of November colour still around us, although maybe in not such a ready way as in
the other seasons, we praise and thank You. Life can never feel dull in Your presence. Amen.
