Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
I/we come before You in faith, confident in applying Your word to this/these challenging
Psalm 119 v 89 issue(s). For “Your word, O Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.” Therefore I/we
rely upon the goodness of Your steadfast loving kindness and Your merciful grace as You watch
over Your word and fulfil all You say.

I/we ask You, Holy Trinity of wisdom and truth, that in Your power, by Your holy guidance and
teaching, I/we who pray, may ever “Watch our life and doctrine closely. Help us to
based on persevere in them, because if we do we will save both ourself/ves and our hearers.”
1 Timothy 4 v 16 This is vitally, essentially important to us.

I/we claim Your promise when You “Said to Moses: ‘All right. Just as you say, this also will
Exodus 33 v 17 do, for I know you well and you are special to me. I know you by name.”

Thank You Lord, that You know all of us by name. I/we now name before You..…………..
You have written this/these name(s) with love, carrying and safely supporting him/her/them in the
palm of Your hand. You are our Saviour and Protector, the Lord of all life.

1 John 4 v 7 “Love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.”

Therefore I/we claim ……..…..for You, for being born from Your love, (s)he/they will come to
know You, love You and serve You fully.

Isaiah 44 v1-3 “Hear now….My servant ….whom I have chosen. Thus says the Lord who made you – who
will help you; ‘Fear not …….. For I will pour water on him/her who is thirsty… I will pour My
Spirit on your descendants and My blessing on your children.”

Thank You Lord for this marvellous promise. Help ……… to receive the blessings of Your promise
that (s)he/they may come to know You personally.

John 11 v 25 Lord Jesus, Lord of love and life in all fullness, You say “I am the Resurrection and the
Life.”

I/we say “Christ, the Resurrection and the Life,
He is my life; and living by His word,
The Golden The hour that terminates this mortal strife,
Text book Gives me (and…………) to rise and triumph in my Lord.”
Psalm 119 v 114 For “You’re my place of quiet retreat; I wait for Your word to renew” ……………..
John 17 v 1, 17 “ ‘Sanctify …………….by Your truth’,” Lord. “ ‘Your word is truth’.”

Through ………….baptism and confirmation (or for those who have not yet received this
sacrament but carry the desire of knowing You,) for him/her/them we claim “(S)he who has
