By The Blessings Of The Eucharist

“Blessed art Thou, O Lord our God, King of the universe, who hath created joy and gladness,

and friendship...” Babylonian Talmud
God, the Giver of all good gifts,
Let us adore You more and more
By the blessings of the Eucharist,
Jesus made most real to us.
Happiness is expressed in our close fellowship with Jesus,
Gifted in the Eucharist to bring us closer to You.
Fruition by permission of holiness,
As the Spirit of reverence shows us.
The Spirit is our reference point
In the One You as our Father, does appoint for this.
Praise is due to the Trinity daily
As the attributes of kindness are displayed by us through the plea of Jesus.
“ ‘I saw satan fall like lightning from Heaven.’” Luke 10 v 18
Holiness is fulfilling a very fine design, defeating satan
For Jesus’ name redeems and reclaims us.
Doing this out of goodness with such loving steadfastness.
We are numbered as family in Jesus,
Living strengthened by the Eucharist
To resemble the Word of life.
His bright light shining across the world’s darkness,
Our understanding is divinely informed
Through the One who is both holy and heavenly,
Pure of motive, devoted to us,
With all the time in the world, having risen to love us.
“ ‘I in them, and You in Me, that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that
You have sent Me and have loved them as You have loved Me’.” John 17 v 23
For Jesus, having lived and died for us,
Returns to us time and again
By the blessing of the Eucharist feeding us.
Jesus is teaching us how to love, to give of self.
He feeds and nourishes us for this purpose,
Watchful for our holy prosperity.
We are to be guided and guarded,
Led away as we pray, from the power of the worldly
And the array of evils which we expose ourselves to, sadly.
“And the Lord will deliver me from every evil work and preserve me for His heavenly kingdom. To Him
be glory forever and ever. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4 v 18
Healing is offered by Jesus feeding us
By the blessing of the Eucharist.

What a fulfilment is gifted us.
And honour and praise are due to the Trinity,
Deepening yet again our relationship of friendship
For we receive of the Lord Jesus in love’s closeness.
Let us then express our warmest appreciation,
In dedication of coming joyously to the Eucharist,
Seeking the truth of all that is accomplished for us,
The remembrance of the † so very meaningful.
In the Eucharist we are being nourished to grow in Christ likeness.
His holiness becomes regarded as most precious by us.
“ ‘Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled’.” Matthew 5 v 6
“The righteous will hold to his (her) way, and (s)he who had clean hands will be stronger and stronger.”
Job 17 v 9
For the Spirit causes us to hunger and thirst for the righteousness of Jesus, making it evident
that we benefit from partaking of the Eucharist, strengthened by the blessings of the Eucharist.
The Spirit so wise an Enabler, shows us that it is Jesus growing in us, becoming our primary
focus, who ensures we come to detest sin and the ensuing misery of evil.
In earnest we must seek the new life offered us in Jesus, that we can praise, honour and glorify
You, dearest Father.
It is through benefitting from the righteousness of Jesus we learn, graced by the Spirit, to uphold
Your way of life, Your wishes for holiness.
May the Spirit both encourage and protect all efforts towards integrity by the blessings of the
Eucharist.
May the Spirit who fans our faith into a flame, build within us a desire to pursue justice and
peace in all situations.
Surely one of the blessings which arise as we share our life with Jesus, nourished by the
Eucharist, is an increase in kindness as uprightness becomes important to us.
May the gospel message of Jesus be lived out by us, so as not only to honour and please You,
Father, but to encourage others to adhere to following Your ways.
What a powerful place we enter before You, Father, when we pray “ ‘Deliver us from the evil
Matthew 6 v 13 one, for Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever’.”
This is forever as You have granted us a Saviour to make Your power of healing available to us.
Thank You that Jesus comes to us again and again in a recognisable way as we pray the
Eucharist.
Here we are called into a divine partnership with the Trinity. By the blessings of the Eucharist,
a new life opens up before us.
“ ‘And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as we
John 17 v 22 are one’,” one in love’s purpose with each other and one in love’s unity with the Trinity. All
praise for the glory that will be. Amen.
