Jumbled, mingled abundance,
What a feeling of fullness in August.
Gardens grown all around us,
Gardens most robust
Able to thrust into life.
Herbaceous perennials a-plenty,
Many clustered closely together.
No spaces whatsoever,
The garden in August is full cover.
For August comes in greatest abundance.
We can see this fullness at a glance.
Every beauty surrounds us in August,
The warmth of summer’s fullest fullness.
Creation has contact everywhere about us,
August is glorious!
