I’m refusing to be shipwrecked, lost at sea,
as I see what You mean to me,
dear Lord.
I’m holding firm amidst the raging storm,
for I remember Your norm is to strengthen and support me,
compassionate Lord.
I’m keeping upright whilst the tempest does wildly blow,
as I know full well to hold on to You,
my Lord.
I’m reeling under the wind of change,
but I must let You re-arrange my schedule,
holy Lord.
I’m even going to see in the darkness,
as I enlightened by the radiating spark of Your wisdom,
ask You to bless me by Your guidance,
loving Lord.

Lord,
When my anxiety rides high, bid me to keep my eyes firmly fixed upon You, then I will not
stumble and sink below the tide assaulting me. Call out to me. Remind me to “Fear not,
Luke 8 v 50 believe only.” I will believe and rely upon Your guiding, supporting, all loving strength. I
will trust You, Lord, for I know You hold my life securely in Your hands. Please carry me
when necessary. Amen.
