May Your Spirit
Infilling my mind,
Find my heart ready,
Waiting to receive.
I do believe in You, Lord.
Afford me more,
Much more of Your teaching.
It is in my listening, asking
I discover the learning.
Please open up to me
Your every prophecy
Offered as a promise
Fulfilling our destiny.
So much of life is a mystery
I need to know You more closely,
Your plan for me personally
As well as the general identity

I find given for mankind.
How well You know, Lord,
That every moment in Your presence

Life’s fulfilment is in Your presence, Lord. Thank You for revealing the necessity of asking,
listening. You speak to us in so many different ways. I do not want to miss out on any of this.
Please help me to concentrate my mind in listening out for Your Spirit’s ideas, impressions and
intentions. Steer my conscience and be in my imagination. My heart yearns to learn more
about You. Help me please, to set aside not only sufficient time for prayer, but my own
preoccupations, worries and concerns that I may listen to You more attentively.
Lord, be in my planning in everything. There is always more to do than time to do it in, so I
need Your wisdom and direction. Nothing is of real value unless it has an eternal purpose.
Please show me this. Speak to me, Lord. I must access Your thoughts and the indications can
only come to me if prayerfully I stay in contact, asking, listening. This is a necessity. Thank
You for any progress I have made. But please take me forwards.
May I devote time for prayer willingly, seeking to worship through deepening our
friendship. Thank You Father, that Your Spirit will embolden this through the Lord Jesus,
allowing me to share in His thoughts and intentions. To seek that which is holy, I must come
to the One who led an exemplary life, always watching for what He will say to me. I am
dependent on the grace of holy love for our communication. Do not let me miss out on any
opportunity.
Lord, I want to seek to find You anywhere, everywhere. Open wide the eyes and ears of my
heart and my mind that I am always asking, listening. In this way I will learn to claim Your
promises, to take them and make them as my own. Afford me more, much more of Your
teaching that I spend each day in the optimum way to praise You through my learning to trust.
Take me back in my memory as often as is necessary to take me forwards.
Lord, I would always learn of Your promises, especially those fulfilling prophecy. This shows
me Your hand of authority over all things. And of course, the greatest of all prophecy is the
incarnation, crucifixion and resurrection of the Lord Jesus. How I praise and thank You that
every prophecy is also a promise and that You never, ever fail us. It is in our prayerful asking
and listening we learn of this. How wonderful that You communicate with us and will choose
the words of man, Spirit led.
Lord, may I be fully open to Your Spirit and recognise all He is showing me, teaching me,
asking of me. I call on Your Spirit to fill my heart and mind and conscience and imagination.
Without this, my faith would not be properly activated. How I thank You for the gift of the
Spirit of holiness I am so blessed to share with the Lord Jesus. May my life give adequate

witness.
Lord God, holy Father, ever I would praise You to thank You for all Your rich goodness to us.
In this day and age we stand beyond the † enabled to see the fulfilment of every prophecy and
promise in the life and love of the Lord Jesus. In Him I find the fullness of life I seek, but I
need Him to speak to me. I ask that this happens directly. For Lord, I would have my life
Isaiah 58 v 11 fulfil Your promise: “You will be like a well watered garden, like a spring whose waters
NIV never fail.” This I ask of You, for You have set the task of asking, listening.

Lord, I ask to witness and worship, to declare and share the love, the life, the true and eternal
meaning and purpose I have been so blessed to receive. I would pray and work to make You
real to others in whatever way I best can. So I need to know You more closely, Your plan for
me personally. And I wish to love You more openly, more fully, more fervently. As You have
never failed me, please do not let me fail You.
Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I open my life before You that You may use my time, talents,
skills, energy in Your service. I bow before You and admit my total dependency. I offer You my
love, my trust, my acceptance of Your will for my life. I ask for help and healing with all those
areas which impede our friendship. And my greatest need I express to You, it is to worship. Let
me therefore understand, call upon and give witness to every prophecy and promise.
Lord, be in all my thoughts, intentions, actions that they be shaped to Your delight, honour,
praise and glory. Help me please, to spend all of my time gainfully in Your service. Balance
out my prayer and action. Balance too, the manner of prayer I offer. May Your Spirit infill
my mind, find my heart ready, waiting to receive. I thank You, Father, that it is in the
receiving of You we can give out of You. May I ever receive more to be enabled to witness and
worship effectively.
Lord, You enrich life immeasurably. Countless are the ways in which You enrich life, but
maybe never more so than when You speak to us to connect heaven to earth. Thank You that
this happens in a recognisable way as we pray to and through the Lord Jesus, graced and
guided by Your co-equal Spirit. May we then be prayerful before You, many more than now
because You have answered the prayer of those already blessed to have come to faith and be
claiming Your promises. Lord, be in all our asking and listening, our seeking and finding and
following all You say to us. Be the life of love You designed for us.
I offer You my worship through the Lord Jesus and the blessings of Your Spirit. Please ever
speak to me and direct me to witness. For I would speak of the mystery of Christ and enable
others to seek an active faith and belief through Him, the One who grants true meaning and an
eternal purpose to life. Father, I ask for the daily gift of Your Spirit to enable this to happen.
For this I have to claim the promises. “Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of
2 Corinthians 3 v 17 the Lord is, there is liberty.” Liberty from reticence in declaring our faith. Lord ever
strengthen our faith.
Prayerfully in our asking, listening, “We all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror
the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory,
2 Corinthians 3 v 18 just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” How wonderful, thank You! Nothing can be more exciting
nor rewarding than seeing, hearing and responding to how You work with us. Find my heart
ready, waiting to receive that I may honour You, Lord. For as Your love is a total gift, I
would declare and share this openly. Amen.
