’S SAKE
“Now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” 2 Corinthians 6 v 2
Our Lord God’s Word, did take time,
Make effort to come to earth
That holy love given human birth,
Jesus should, would live amongst us.
Tragically our sinfulness cut this short
And further love had to be bought
At the cost of the sacrifice of Jesus’ life.
He went to the † for us,
All for love’s sake, to make forgiveness possible.
We are reminded of this during the Eucharist,
Jesus, risen, alive to thrive, in love, once more helping us.
“And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.” 1 Corinthians 3 v 23
For love you see, is stronger than the enemy.
Even death could not contain the love in Jesus.
Then He does live to give once more of Himself,
Perfecting the union between God and us,
Instituted victoriously at the † and celebrated in the Eucharist,
Presented in a unique way as we pray.
Ask to receive of Jesus, in all His humanity,
Come once more to share His divinity,
And you will find the security of sanctity.
All praise ever, ever be for the victory God gives
All for love’s sake to make such a difference to us.
“...behold we live; as chastened, and not yet killed; as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet
making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.” 2 Corinthians 6 v 9, 10

Dearest Father, for this to happen we need Jesus, and to possess Jesus as love’s holy blessing we
need the Eucharist.

possess Your love for us, dearest Father, merciful One.
This love gifts us fearless confidence before You, thank You, and endows within us a beneficial
love for each other.
Thus “We have boldness in the day of judgment, because as Jesus is, so are we in the

Thank You for allowing this in the Eucharist, that by His love He can transform us into His
likeness for the victory was won at the †. We are reassured by the Eucharist.
Reborn in Jesus, may satan never again defeat us. “For whoever is born of God overcomes

Our faith in Jesus that is, the Saviour who lived, died and rose again, all praise and thanks ever
be. For this happens all for love’s sake.
Jesus is Lord, Jesus is Word, Jesus is truth, Jesus is love. We love Him, thankfully, gratefully,
