“Your faith will help me, and my faith will help you.” Romans 1 v 12
“Your faith will help me, and my faith will help you.” Romans 1 v 12
Going in the right direction
Requires heartfelt introspection
And the closest possible connection
To the almighty God of love.
He will more than show you.
He will go with you, journeying onwards,
Forwards in His wisdom and truth.
“You have always been my help.” Psalm 63 v 7
How will you know this?
Start to look at your heart
To see, hear, feel what
God is telling you, there,
Where He undoubtedly resides.
He does not hide, but
Rather sits patiently waiting within.
“Look to the Lord and His strength, seek His face always.” Psalm 105 v 4
Waiting for you to begin
To trust His leading, searching, seeking you out
He will change you – from within –
Your attitudes and outlook are influenced, to become holy.
He’ll begin to re-arrange your schedule,
Your pre-occupation, priorities and appointments.
“There is nothing extraordinary about being holy. It is simply a duty for us all.” Mother Theresa
God will encourage you to focus on your strengths,
Even going to extraordinary lengths to let you become aware,
To share His exciting, hopeful vision of you, for you.
He will not let you stand still until the resting time
Of assimilation and accommodation are due.
More usually, God will renew your strength and determination
To continue to climb in a place of challenge to provide growth.
“Always keep praying.” Ephesians 6 v 18
Sloth has no part in His plan whatsoever!
Be diligent, committed, hard working whilst God is permitted,
Invited, encouraged, begged to carry on moulding you.
Yearn to learn and relearn, learn and relearn.
The destination is always ahead of you,
It is through God you will reach the Masterclass
Enjoying the journey and leaving lasting footprints en route.
“Conversion is expressed in faith that is total and radical.” Pope John Paul II
Make sure what you do today is not gone tomorrow
To be lost, swallowed up forever and a day.
That is not God’s way at all.
What is of real value to Him, is indeed
Of everlasting, eternal value, so intercede, plead
To find out what is on God’s mind, then share it.
“Make every effort to do what leads to … mutual edification.” Romans 14 v 19
Compare your growth by regular introspection.
Has your connection to God become closer?
Has your knowledge of Him, His truths, His wisdom,
His prophecies, His promises, His incredible power,
His way of working with us, for us, within us,
Been put to good use, the best use possible?
“Try to live in peace with everyone and seek to live a clean and holy life.” Hebrews 12 v 14
It is probable that you can be stretched even further.
Remember, God made us little less than gods, as
Creative, intuitive, feeling, loving, pro-active beings.
And in the being comes the becoming of all He intended.
Seek God, speak to Him about anything, everything.
Pray, listen, learn, respond, pray again to give thanks.
“Be persevering in your prayers.” Colossians 4 v 2
Life is a journey to be enjoying the travelling recognising life’s defining
moments
Unfolding as you move onwards in safety,
Securely holding God’s hand, placing yourself within His heart.
That enormous, incredible heart of love.
The sure start of all that is good and growing better,
Your spirit, soul and body fully alive to thrive in God’s truth.
“She answered, it is well.” 2 Kings 4 v 26
St Francis of Assisi “My God and my all,” be with me now and for evermore. Amen
