The gentle blush,
Rush of spring,
Winter weather is shrugged off
By the delicacy firstly
Of magnificent magnolia.
Then colourful camellia,
Only to be surpassed
By the rush of blossom.
Pale pink, deep pink, creamy white,
A blush of blossom and bloom,
So prolific we assume
The Lord God, our Creator Father,
Looks for ways to delight us.
What could be better than the abundance,
A rush of bountiful blossom?
The Japanese cherries and prunus
Glorious from March into April,
Steal the scene
As if paintin
The gentle blush,
Rush of spring,
Winter weather is shrugged off
By the delicacy firstly
Of magnificent magnolia.
Then colourful camellia,
Only to be surpassed
By the rush of blossom.
Pale pink, deep pink, creamy white,
A blush of blossom and bloom,
So prolific we assume
The Lord God, our Creator Father,
Looks for ways to delight us.
What could be better than the abundance,
A rush of bountiful blossom?
The Japanese cherries and prunus
Glorious from March into April,
Steal the scene
As if painting with colour,
Flowering so profusely, freely.
At a time such as this
There is no equal, although
Because God is more than generous,
There will be a sequel.
Do not miss out on the joy,
So evident, richly prevalent
In the gentle blush,
Rush of spring,
A blush of blossom and bloom.
Lord, thank You for this outstanding, breathtaking beauty which is such an annual delight. Amen.
