Dwell for a spell of time in a bluebell dell.
Admire the style of nature.
She does nothing by halves,
But in everything, offers much,
For God’s touch results in a-plenty.
Can you count the bluebells
Nodding alongside your woodland walk?
No, it is an impossibility!
What you can do though, very readily,
Is see God the Creator’s ample generosity.
Some would say even to being One who
Delights to offer nature in love’s profligacy.
What is the implication of this spiritually?
Amidst your walk, talk with God.
Stop and dwell for a spell.
What thoughts, ideas, intentions, understandings
Are stirring amidst the quietness and your questions?
Our Father desires to speak to us,
Choosing to do this through Jesus, by the Spirit.
The Spirit stirs up our spiritual awareness.
He often does this more readily amidst scenes of beauty.
What better place than to dwell then in a bluebell dell?
You may well be surprised at the godly result
Of stopping, looking, praying, reflecting,
Connecting a heart of appreciation reaching out
Touching our Creator Father’s dedication given to us.
He sets us in places of outstanding beauty,
A magnificent opportunity to see, hear, feel
The God of love is closely alongside us.
All thanks be to the Holy Trinity,
For help, for guidance, for uplift, encouragement,
And of course the breathtaking beauty
As we dwell for the spell in a bluebell dell.

Who knows what God will say to us on any one particular day? Perhaps this will be the day for
our Father to say: “ ‘For I know the plans I have for you...plans to prosper you and not to
Jeremiah 29 v 11 NIV harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
Lord, we could all do with hearing some good news such as this. Please reach out and touch us
by Your Spirit so firmly, we will hear Your plans for us, responding by submitting gratefully,
turning to Jesus, knowing this is designed specifically and personally for us, according to the
amazing power of Your love at work. Amen.
