Book Review: In Short - Sue O'Donnell
Sue O’Donnell’s book comes out in the ‘Year of Faith’ during which as a Church and individuals we are seeking to renew our own faith and help others enkindle or renew theirs. Sue’s poetry and use of scripture help me reflect in the midst of all the hubbub and hurly burly of life on what I am really about as a Christian.
All I do is with God and for God, with his people and for his people. The meditations are like a tonic when weariness or a sense of despondency sets in.
St Paul says:
1 Thessalonians 5:16-17
Be always cheerful and pray without ceasing.
Sue’s ‘In Short’ can nurture inner joy and help all of life become a prayer.
