“See, God has come to save me. I will trust in Him and not be afraid. The LORD God is my strength and my song; He has given me victory.” (Isaiah 12 v 2 NLT)

“With joy you will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation! In that wonderful day you will sing.” (Isaiah 12 v 3 NLT)

Let us pray and “Thank the LORD” (v 4)

Let us pray to “Praise His name! (v 4)

Let us pray to “Tell the nations what He has done” (v 4) for us, through Christ Jesus.

Let us pray for all the world to “Let them know how mighty He is!” (v 4) The majesty of His love and mercy is clear to us in and through Christ Jesus as He sends us the Spirit of holiness to teach us to pray.

Let us then “Sing to the LORD,” ‘Abba’, dearest Father, the Lord Jesus, holy Brother and Saviour, the Holy Spirit, Lord and Sanctifier, One God in Three Persons, “For He has done wonderful things.” (v 5)

Let us pray to “Make known His praise around the world.” (v 5)

Let us pray “For great is the Holy One of Israel who lives among us.” (based on v 6)

Let us pray full of praise and thanksgiving that Christ Jesus, the Saviour of the world, “He humbled Himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross” (Philippians 2 v 8) to save us from

the hell of a final, total separation from God’s love and mercy.

Let us pray with all praise for the Victor over sin and death. “Therefore, God elevated Him to the place of highest honour and gave Him the name above all other names.” (v 9)

Let us pray because “At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (v 10, 11)

Let us pray with heartfelt rejoicing that “As Moses lifted up the bronze snake on a pole in the wilderness” (John 3 v 14 NLT) for protection, this being given by our Father, “So the Son of Man must be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.” (v 15)

Let us pray confidently: “Surely Your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.” (Psalm 23 v 6 NLT)

We have been made sharers in that glorious life beyond the grave. Yes, we must pray offering all thanks. “For we who worship by the Spirit of God are the ones who ...rely on what Christ Jesus has done for us.” A

(Philippians 3 v 3 NLT)
