“There is no fear in this kind of love that comes from God. His love is perfect and it drives fear out of our lives. The one who is afraid fears that (s)he will be punished by God. Such a one does not have this perfect love operating fully in his (her) life.” (1 John 4 v 18 The Truth)
Please pray!
Why? What for?
It is as we pray
We find the way to live
To give glory to God.
In this is our happiness,
The highest, fullest, richest
And certainly most beneficial joy.
This joy is trust developed
By living in Jesus.
To do this, we must pray!
Please pray!
“I desire to love You; I fear that I do not love You enough. I beseech You to grant me the fullness of pure love.” (Francois Fénelon 1631-1715)
Please pray!
Today and everyday, pray!
Our world is in a mess,
Constricted, restricted by a virus.
The Corona 19 Pandemic
Is terrifying for mankind.
But we can find safety.
Our security is known,
Shown by turning to Jesus.
He is life to us,
Delivering us from fear of death.
Please pray!
“God is love. So if love is your way of life, it is clear that you live in God and that He lives in you.” (1 John 4 v 16 The Truth)
“This is how God’s love is revealed amongst us, and it is this obedience to Him that will give us confidence on the Day of Judgment. Such love shows the world we are like the One in whom we believe.” (1 John 4 v 17 The Truth) Please pray that out of His mercy the Lord God’s gainful love towards us will drive out, place away from us, all doubt, confusion, fear, disbelief and mistrust.
Trusting in divine protection, please pray, for it is our ever merciful Father’s plan that, by turning to the Lord Jesus as Saviour, we can serve Him throughout our life in holiness and righteousness without any need
to be afraid.
We can meet death and the day of judgment in the confidence that all our forgiveness is found through Jesus.
We are a redeemed people, restored to every grace and favour with no reason to feel frightened, not even of the unknown, for our future is set to be in heaven as secured for us by Christ Jesus.
Please pray not only for our safety, but in thanks “Because of the supreme advantage of knowing Christ Jesus” (Philippians 3 v 8 TNJB) our Lord and Saviour. “Blessed is anyone who trusts in the Lord, with
the Lord to rely on.” (Jeremiah 17 v 7)
“Blessed are those who find their strength in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage...For Yaweh God is a rampart and shield, He gives grace and glory; Yaweh refuses nothing good to those whose life is blameless. Yaweh Sabaoth, blessed is (s)he who trusts in You.” (Psalm 84 v 5, 11, 12 TNJB)
Lord, hear our prayer and answer us. Lord hear us. Lord, graciously hear us and let us no longer fear death, but look forward with an expectant, confident hope to the glorious life we will share in heaven with the Holy
Trinity, all thanks ever be for our salvation secured in Jesus. Amen.
