“Accept everything God has made available to you, to enable you to stand steadfast when evil attacks.” (Ephesians 6 v 13)

May the Spirit of God:

Support our belief;

Strengthen our faith;

Preserve our friendship with Jesus;

Empower our understanding of wisdom;

Commit us to the truth Jesus reveals to us;

Be the hand of God to protect us;

Be the way of God as seen in Jesus;

Wield the shield of God to defend us;

Act like a sword cutting down the adversary;

Safeguard us by leading us closer to Jesus.

“You stand firm with His truth like a belt you keep around your waist for support. His righteousness like a breastplate that protects you.” (Ephesians 6 v 14 the Truth)

“You wear the shoes of the gospel so that you are always ready for any eventuality and can walk in peace. Your faith is like a shield that you have to take hold of, and that enables you to overcome anything the devil throws at you.” (Ephesians 6 v 15, 16 the Truth)

“You have not only a defensive shield, but an offensive weapon, the sword of the Spirit which is God’s word.” (Ephesians 6 v 18 The Truth) Therefore let us pray. Amen.
