STAND SECURE

Sue O’Donnell. 19.07.20

“It is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.” (John 5 v 6)

Be resolutely firm

In the power of the Spirit.

Stand securely

United together with Jesus.

Do not fear, nor worry,

All is well

When the Trinity act,

Totally united in love,

Ever offered mercifully,

Holy power lifts you.

“Use fully the gift that was imparted to you... Be wholehearted in doing all those things so that everyone will see how you have progressed spiritually. Keep a close watch on the way you live and on what you teach. If you persevere in truth, God will save both you and those who listen to you.” (1 Timothy 4 v 15 The Truth)

Holy power gifts you lovingly,

Calling you to act.

Act to set prisoners free

By the gospel message.

Offering hope, the scope of faith.

Bringing sight to the spiritually blind,

Sound to the spiritually deaf.

Talk about Jesus,

Broadcast His friendship.

You do not know how to do this,

How to set about the task?

“Refuse to have anything to do with whatever disagrees with His word or with any old wive’s tales. Instead, you are to train yourselves to be godly.” (1 Timothy 4 v 7 The Truth)

Just ask! Ask of the Spirit.

He will counsel you,

Enable you to gain

All holy wisdom and truth,

Carrying the Lord Jesus,

Closest to your heart,

Where love does start,

And by prayer continue

To flow, to go forwards.

“We have placed our hope in the living God, who is the Saviour of all mankind, but especially of those who believe in Him.” (1 Timothy 4 v 10 The Truth)

Never ever doubt this.

You stand secure

In the Spirit of Jesus,

Faith’s Developer and Giver.

All you need to do,

All you need to say,

All you need to be,

Is made clear to us

Through the love of Jesus,

As taught by the Spirit of holiness.

“We love Him because He first loved us.” (1 John 4 v 19)

“Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” (1 John 3 v 18)

Please pray.
