“ ‘I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours. You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word’.” (John 17 v 6)
Conversion is immersion in the love of the Lord Jesus,
A transaction brought about by the Holy Spirit
As the majestic will and ardent wish of our heavenly Father.
Conversion takes us in a godly direction, prayerfully.
Opening up before us the eternal faithfulness.
The holy Trinity love us back into wholeness.
“Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face evermore!” (Psalm 105 v 3, 4)
Conversion asks praise of us,
Thanksgiving for the †of the Lord Jesus,
And true appreciation for His mercy shown us.
Conversion is a progression from worldlines,
Towards the holiness Jesus holds out to us,
Given as Advocate to be with us forever.
“...so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each of us, for in Him we live and move and have our being...” (Acts 17 v 27, 28)
Conversion is our worship offered in Christ Jesus,
As we discover life’s highest, deepest point,
Its fullness of richness being in God’s Son, the holy One,
We learn to rely and fully depend upon.
We then desire to share the riches and treasure,
This new, glorious life of faith found in Jesus.
“Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You.” (John 17 v 7)
Conversion is faith’s belief in the Lord Jesus, that:
He is who He says He is,
The works He does are evidenced to us,
Jesus is the Son of God, His active Word,
He is full of the Spirit of holiness,
Jesus now by the Spirit, lives in us.
“ ‘For I have given them the words which You have given Me, and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me’.” (John 17 v 8)
Conversion is the Holy Spirit igniting our imagination,
Filling our mind with an understanding of Christ Jesus,
Placing upon our heart the intensity of His love for us,
Building with us a desire for our service,
To give witness to gospel truth in all its glory,
Living out this, the story effectively, fulfillingly.
“For we are also His offspring. Therefore since we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Divine Nature is like gold or silver or stone, something shaped by art and man’s devising’.” (Acts
17 v 28, 29)
“ ‘Truly these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man He has ordained. He has given assurance of this by raising Him from the dead’.” (Acts 17 v 30, 31) Please pray to share the riches of knowing Jesus as we believe “...showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ.” (Acts 18 v 28) Amen.
