“Carry each others’ burdens, for by doing so you will fulfil Christ’s law.” (Galatians 6 v 2 The Truth)

Glorious is God’s name as witnessed in Christ Jesus,

Love divine, so fine beyond description.

Salvation is our healing help given by His love.

We can glory in God’s perfection,

His love offered to give us freedom.

Wonder being the wellspring of praise,

We amaze at the friendship gifted us,

In the through the life, death and resurrection

Of the holy Son, the Lord Jesus, our living hope.

In our Saviour Brother we find the scope of true love,

Has come down to us directly from heaven above.

All that is good in us is because of Jesus,

The Word of life becoming meaningful to us

Spiritually, emotionally and in all relationships.

The Lord Jesus’ love is our highest worship

As we respond in prayer and good works for posterity.

Oh how society does greatly profit through Jesus’s friendship.

He delivers us from all that is evil,

satan seeking to distress and destroy us continuously.

But we have a Brother stronger by far!

And generously He gifts us His own Spirit,

The same Spirit as belongs to our Father.

The Lord Jesus sending us the Spirit of holiness,

Develops, assists and secures life’s highest quality.

Jesus’ kingdom on earth is to be our security,

A place of wonder and praise as we amaze at God’s goodness,

His all loving mercy of forgiveness towards us.

All that love in all its holy power reigns supreme

Triumphing over all that is evil, the work of satan.

But Jesus opens the eyes of our mind and heart,

As by the Holy Spirit, He seeks to start to restore us to holiness.

Our right living and secure standing before God,

Is entirely as a result of our response to the Lord Jesus

And the discovery of such love and mercy at work.

As the Holy Spirit will and does reveal this to us,

In all sincere, loving care and concern for us.

The Spirit makes us to be brothers and sisters of Jesus.

We are being blessed to live to the glory of God.

It is the Spirit of holiness who makes us resolute,

To escape the snare of satan capturing us,

Holding us hostage for his own evil purpose.

All that the Lord God does for us, ever at work

In the Lord Jesus, by the Holy Spirit, is truly wondrous.

“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 1 v 8)

“It is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.” (1 Peter 3 v 17)

Let us pray, for we are told “Depart from evil and do good; and dwell forevermore. For the Lord loves justice, and does not forsake His saints.” (Psalm 37 v 27, 28) And the whole point of life is to live to give glory to God. Amen.
