The multi-shades God has made
Add sweet flavour as we savour life.
We can draw upon many to brighten the day,
Or say something special to someone.
All colours are fun!
But perhaps especially the brighter tones,
Vibrantly full of zest to test out life.
Just as faith does, gifting life with a true happiness,
A real meaning and eternal purpose.
Holy love in His power, gifting life hope.
A hope slightly coloured for we find the reality
Of God’s love for us, in the Lord Jesus.
Of all the many shades of life,
Our Lord God has made to inspire us,
None is higher than our friendship with Jesus,
Showing us the way to live which is right,
Colouring our days to be bright with hope.
All according to the scope of holy love,
That love God given from above,
As and when we look for the Spirit of holiness.
He who fully animated the life of Jesus,
Enabling Him to love totally at all times,
This very same Spirit will come to us.
Herein is our hope and our happiness,
All bound up in an invaluable friendship in Jesus.
The multi-shades God has made
Add sweet flavours as we savour life,
As often as we focus on Jesus, looking to His Spirit.
For the happiness of holiness always results in joy.
Praise be to the glory of the holy Trinity,
The Life Giver in all that can be made joyous,
Fully joyous as we offer our life to Jesus as Lord.
We were created to be happy, living as God’s family.
We are offered holiness with happiness all the year through.
Let God be praised as we glory in our faith’s story.
A true story of the richness of life the Spirit shares with us in Jesus.
May we ever rejoice and savour the rich colour of our happiness in Jesus.
Lord God, dearest Father, for all that You do for us to source and shape our happiness, warmly I praise and thank You, most especially for gifting us Your Son and Your Spirit to show us what holiness means. May we
ever dedicate to living by faith, sharing our highest happiness in honouring the Lord Jesus, by means of the Spirit. It is indeed “Christ in us which is the hope of glory.” (based on Colossians 1 v27) Amen.
