“The LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear, nor be dismayed.” (Deuteronomy 31 v 8)

The Lord God emerges from the bounty of infinity

Into the midst of humanity,

Coming to us in the Person of Christ Jesus.

Jesus is the living and abiding Voice of God,

Here with us unfailingly by means of the Spirit.

We have to make a most significant choice,

Which is whether to listen to His voice or not.

But such a lot hangs on our response.

“All of you are to humble yourselves under God’s mighty hand of authority, so that in His time He will lift you up to be with Him.” (1 Peter 5 v 6 The Truth)

Jesus is sent to us as the burden Bearer,

A Healer with incredible life giving qualities,

He will carry all our troubles, concerns, anxieties.

Jesus sends us the ever helpful Spirit of faith,

So we learn not to please ourselves primarily,

But to abandon those elements to life we know are wrong.

We belong to a God of great mercy and love,

Wishing to reform us through the holiness of Jesus.

“Yes, You will have to suffer and face the cost of obedience to Him first; but He Himself will restore and keep you strong, firm in your faith and steadfast in your obedience.” (1 Peter 5 v 10 The Truth)

“To Him belongs power for all eternity. Amen! It shall be so!” (1 Peter 5 v 11 The Truth)
