Come Lord Jesus, come in Your power,

Your supreme sovereign authority over all evil.

Come, rescue us by Your Spirit.

Come, for satan attempts to capture us.

You tell us the Spirit comes to us,

Emboldened by our trust and desire,

Which must aspire to serve You.

The Spirit breathes new life into us,

By the power of holy love He offers us.

This is fully joy filled, Lord Jesus,

For the Spirit of holiness equips us.

The Spirit enables us to know You

As God’s living Word of truth to be adhered to.

The Spirit confirms our faith and trust in Jesus.

“The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes. This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it.”

(Psalm 118 v 22, 23, 24)

We no longer doubt nor fear anxiously,

Especially regarding life’s daily meaning and ending.

How radically life changes according to Your presence, Lord Jesus.

You are the Son of God within us.

What an honour and privilege, a real joy.

The Holy Spirit will strengthen our resolve to serve You,

Therefore we ask You to come to us in royal power,

A healing love, a sure grace, a pure mercy,

Coming from Your large heart of all loving merciful compassion.

How blessed we are by Your friendship.

Come Lord Jesus, come in Your power.

As You renew us in Your love, our Father’s love,

We will go out and about strengthened and supported,

For we draw upon the glorious riches of Your ever loving, all loving presence.

“I discovered that I am able to do everything through trusting in the One who always gives me strength.” (Philippians 4 v 13 The Truth)

“Glory belongs to God our Father, for all eternity. Amen! It shall be so!” (Philippians 4 v 20 The Truth)

It is according to our Father’s loving kindness and unfathomable mercy You come to us, Lord Jesus. Offering all thanks for this steadfast love enduring forever because You are our Saviour, we must pray. Please send us Your Spirit to lead us in prayer, ever encouraging us to be more like You, Lord Jesus, loving at all times in word and deed as we call upon the grace coming from Your glorious riches, needing of course, to pray.
