FULLNESS OF LIFE

Sue O’Donnell. 09.06.20

“It is God who arms me with strength, and makes my way perfect.” Psalm 18 v 32

The Holy Spirit gifts fullness of life to us,

This fullness as experienced through Jesus,

In the enormity of His profound love for us.

A love found daily when influenced by the Spirit.

It is in the Spirit we inherit a true understanding

Of the fullness we are promised by Jesus.

This blessed happiness is the pinnacle of our existence.

Jesus is the Father’s steadfast loving kindness,

Manifest to us in a recognisable way when we pray.

“Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good.” Psalm 34 v 8

The fruit of faith is the love of the Trinity,

Experienced frequently in manifold blessings,

*1 Corinthans 12 v 8, 9, 10 We benefit from the gifts and charisms of the Spirit,*

Which can fill us to even be overflowing.

A new life is given over to the Master Jesus,

Enriched by the virtue building of the upholding Spirit.

Faith offers us such fullness of happiness in Jesus.

Surely a song of praise should be on our lips!

A heavenly kingdom awaits us and we can taste this even now.

“Blessed is the (wo)man who trusts in Him!” Psalm 34 v 8

“His fruit was sweet to my taste.” Song of Songs 2 v 3

Romans 12 v 6 “Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them...”

Let us pray to discover what to do with our gifting, where and how to put to best use. Amen.
